. Bebo starts out by cutting his critters and people out with a jigsaw. He doesn't use a pattern, but just follows the natural contour of the wood. Then he sands the pieces, shaping them further by using the sander. Then he paints a base coat with white paint, then a color coat of paint. After this the patterns are painted on, again requiring drying times between coats. Because Bebo uses tractor paint, which is an extremely heavy duty enamal paint, it takes quite a few hours for the paint to dry between coats. |
